On our way to Vienna we travel through the famous wine growing region Wachau, nestled onto the banks of the river Danube. This route passes many castles and ruins, including Dürnstein (where Richard the Lionheart was imprisioned) through this romantic scenery full of history and legends the Danube River winds it's way into Vienna.

Once in the centre of Vienna you will pass the Schönbrunn Palace then continue to the famous Ringstrasse, built on the ruins of the old city fortifications. From here you have an overall impression of the most significant sights of Vienna: Hofburg, State Opera House, Parliament, Art History Museum, Town Hall, City Parks etc.

During some free time you can choose to visit the famous landmarks like St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Prater, Albertine Museum, or take Vienna's walk of fame along the Kärntner Strasse. Or simply enjoy the atmosphere in Austria's number one city.
