In the morning, join the Original Sound of Music TourĀ® following the traces of the Trapp Family in and around Salzburg. Enjoy the picture-perfect baroque Salzburg and its beautiful surroundings. The Original Sound of Music TourĀ® takes you to filming locations and spots where the true story of the Trapp Family took place. Take in breathtaking views of the city and countryside while our live guide entertains with background stories about the making-of one of the most famous musicals ever. Learn about the historical and architectural landmarks of Salzburg and the Lake District while enjoying the highlights of the movie. Relax and listen to the Sound of Music soundtrack and of course feel free to sing-along to Edelweiss and many more ... Sights and points of interest on the tour include Nonnberg Abbey, a photo stop at Leopoldskron Palace, a photo stop at the Gazebo at Hellbrunn Palace, the wedding church in Mondsee, and more.
Edelweiss Cooking Class
Complete your Edelweiss experience with the 1.5 h Edelweiss cooking class in the afternoon. Make your own original Austrian apple strudel, taking part in all stages of preparation ā of course also enjoying the lavish dessert at the end. You will also have the opportunity to proof your baking skills on Salzburgās iconic dessert āSalzburger Nockerlā, an airy and light soufflĆ© representing the three mountains surrounding Salzburg and the cityās baroque spirit. During the winter months November and December, the delicious Christmas cookie Vanillekipferl will be baked instead of Salzburger Nockerl. Traditional goulash soup (vegetarian/vegan options also available) for lunch will be served before you indulging in your own baked delicacies. Your Sound of Music Edelweiss day will be an unforgettable one.
