Enjoy a full day winter outing to the breathtaking alpine plateau of Ramsau and treat yourself to a romantic horse drawn sleigh ride!

After a one and half hour wonderful journey straight into the Alps passing numerous famous ski resorts on your way, your reach Ramsau – an alpine paradise embedded in striking mountain backdrop.

During your 5 hour stay at more than 3.700 feet elevation you get to enjoy – being comfortably nestled in warm blankets – a 2 hour horse drawn sleigh ride through magical winter wonderland! Along the way there will be a stop for refreshments – so the horses can rest and you get to indulge in some regional specialties and delicacies.

Later on, there is the opportunity to explore the alpine village of Ramsau. Enjoy some free time and maybe sample some delicious Styrian cuisine or just wander around enjoying crisp fresh air and the unspoiled nature of high alpine scenery. 

Around 4.00 pm we meet for our return trip via Filzmoos – the routes are weather depending.

A sleigh ride is sure to work up an appetite! For lunch, we drive to the town center, where you can explore the village and the excellent Styrian cuisine awaits your tasting. With classics like Wiener Schnitzel, Backhendl (fried chicken), and the like, you will surely find something to your taste.
