Panorama Tours sponsored the Special Olympics 2017

The largest international sporting movement for athletes with intellectual (learning) disabilities

The Special Olympics are considered to be the largest international sporting movement worldwide for people with intellectual disabilities – offering 4.2 million athletes from 170 countries all year-round training and competitions in 32 different kind of Olympic sports.

The "Special Olympics International" was founded by Eunice Kennedy Shriver in 1968. The headquarters located in Washington, DC, USA, coordinate the National Special Olympics programs.

This year, Austria had the great honor hosting the Special Olympics World Winter Games 2017 – taking place in Graz, Schladming, Ramsau, and Rohrmoos-Untertal (Styria) from March 15 to 25, 2017.

Salzburg Panorama Tours & Travel was happy to make a contribution being one of the sponsors for 2017.
