Art collection at the Buda Castle
One of the largest museums in Hungary with the most complete collection of Hungarian fine arts
The Hungarian National Gallery was established in 1957 as the National Art Museum. It is located in Buda Castle in Budapest.
The collection, which can be found in the A, B, C and D buildings of Buda Castle, includes nearly a hunderd thousand artefacts dating from the early mediaeval times until the present day.
